“These guidelines are designed to create an atmosphere where God can be honored, and every participant can grow spiritually. Compliance is expected from all attendees.”
1. Punctuality is Mandatory
All participants must attend sessions on time. Late coming disrupts the spirit of worship and learning.
2. Respect for Worship Sessions
Maintain silence and attentiveness during sermons, prayers, and Bible studies. Avoid unnecessary movement.
3. Modest and Appropriate Dressing
All attendees should dress decently and modestly, reflecting the sacred nature of the gathering. (Skirts below the knee, proper hair dos and hair cuts, breasts fully covered, tight and revealing outfits are not allowed, transparent dresses, shirts & trousers not allowed, ladies should not wear trousers, neither should boys wear skirts, hostel outfits must be won only in the hostel).
4. No Use of Phones During Sessions
Mobile phones must be switched off or put on silent. Use is only allowed outside program sessions.
5. Attendance is Required
Participants are expected to attend all scheduled activities, except in cases of genuine emergency.
6. Respect for Leaders and Officials
All instructions from organizers, pastors, and coordinators must be obeyed promptly and respectfully.
7. No Unauthorized Movement
Participants should not leave the venue or lodging area without permission from assigned leaders.
8. Gender Conduct Guidelines
VERY IMPORTANT; Maintain proper boundaries between male and female participants. Avoid inappropriate interactions. Boys are not allowed 100metres from the girls dorm and vice versa.
9. Lights-Out Compliance
Observe designated lights-out times to ensure adequate rest and order in the camp environment.
10. Cleanliness and Hygiene
Keep the environment clean:
- Dispose of waste properly
- Keep sleeping areas tidy
11. No Fighting or Disorderly Behavior
Any form of violence, argument, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
12. No Substance Abuse
Smoking, alcohol, drugs, or any harmful substances are strictly prohibited.
13. Respect for Property
Do not damage or misuse venue property, equipment, or other participants’ belongings.
14. Participation in Group Activities
Engage actively in discussions, prayer sessions, and assigned group activities.
15. Spiritual Focus and Conduct
Participants are expected to maintain a Christ-like attitude:
- Avoid gossip, vulgar language, and immoral behavior
- Encourage one another spiritually
NOTE; Offending in any of these will result in facing the convention disciplinary committee and may lead to expulsion from the convention.
